I can no longer bear it – Veteran actress, Jumoke George cries out after going homeless

Jumoke George, a veteran Nollywood actress has taken to social media to cry out to Nigerians for help, revealing she has been homeless for close to six years.

In the video posted on social media by popular Yoruba actress, Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty on Tuesday, George who was visibly distressed and in tears, made an emotional appeal to the public.

The veteran recounted her struggles, including living in a church and being unable to afford medical treatment.

Jumoke disclosed that she currently has no place to call home and relies heavily on support from church members for daily survival.

She said, “Please mothers pray for me, mothers in the world please help me with your prayers. I have never ruined anyone. I am tired, I can no longer bear it. I don’t have a home, I don’t have anything and my child is missing.

“I don’t have good health. I am exhausted. I have tried as a Christian. My first born Adeola has been missing for the past four years. I have been sick since January 2.

“I have done several tests, what is remaining is brain and heart test and it is N400,000, I don’t know where to find it. I don’t sleep, I am always in pain. I don’t have a house, I’ve been living in the church for the past 5 to 6 years. My church mommy is the one who feeds me sometimes.”

Appealing for support, Omoborty captioned the video, “Please dear colleagues, friends and fans, kindly let’s support. Whatever we can, it’s not easy anywhere but our widows mite collectively will go a long way. Thank you @biolabayo1.
