Family of late popular actress Nkechi Nweje announces burial date

The family of late Nollywood actress Nkechi Nweje has announced her burial details following her sudden death on March 21.

TheNewsGuru reports that veteran actress Rita Edochie via her Instagram page on Friday confirmed the burial arrangements with a photo of the funeral poster.

She captioned the post, “With heavy heart I bring to you my sister-in-law actress Nkechi Nweje’s official burial arrangement. Courtesy: The family. Please check the poster and be guided. This is so sad, but God Almighty knows the best.

“Chaiiiiiiiiiii so 23rd of May 2025 I will cease to see Nkechi Nweje?

“But Nk, nwannem, this wasn’t our plan for 2025.
Greetings great lovers of Rita Edochie.
Have a great weekend ”

The poster, signed by her husband, Azubuike Nweje, reveals that the funeral service and interment will take place on Friday, May 23, at 1C Obeleagu Street, off Awka Road, Onitsha, Anambra State.

The service is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m, while a reception will follow at Eze Chima Primary School, also along Awka Road in Onitsha.
